"One of the coolest and rewarding aspects of being an instructor is seeing students I've had following their passion and making an impact. Whether it's performing on stage, leading worship at their local church or just playing for themselves and family in the comfort of their home. Music is truly a gift and I am honored to be able to help people achieve their goals."

Students are taught using tablature as opposed to standard notation. Tablature (Tab for short) has lines for each string of a stringed instrument (6 for guitar) and a number indicating where that particular string is to be fretted for the end result. Time values for notes are indicated similar to standard notation.
Beginners will work on basics, tuning, holding the pick, open chords, strum patterns, as well as counting and keeping time. Once we have a few chords ready to go we'll work on songs that will keep you motivated to practice and looking forward to your next lesson.
Intermediate to advanced students will be taught advanced chords, finger picking and or soloing.
